Close out GEOINT 2015 with Family Day & the Washington Nationals!

USGIF has you covered with the first-ever Family Day on Thursday, June 25, starting at 12:30 p.m. in the exhibit hall. Bring in your family for free. The day will continue after the hall closes at 3 p.m. when attendees and families can buy discounted Nats tickets and head to the 4 p.m. baseball game.

Play a Round of Golf at GEOINT 2015

Help kick-off the GEOINT 2015 Symposium by joining the Community for a day of networking on the links and supporting geospatial education. The Allder Golf Classic will be held Monday, June 22 at the 1757 Golf Club in Dulles, Va. at an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

The Allder Golf Classic, named in honor of William R. Allder Jr., helps fund the USGIF Scholarship Program. Since 2004, USGIF has awarded $792,000 in scholarships to deserving students pursuing education excellence in fields related to the GEOINT tradecraft.

Before the GEOINT 2015 Symposium begins, start your experience by attending GEOINT Foreword on Monday, June 22. GEOINT Foreword is a pre-symposium event dedicated to discussing advances in innovation and the GEOINT tradecraft.

GEOINT Foreword is focused on science and technology via keynotes, panel discussions, breakout sessions, lightning talks, networking, and more. Topics of discussion include GEOINT credentialing, SmallSats, modeling and simulation, open source code repositories, and a variety of other topics.

Call for GEOINT 2015 Lightning Talk Presentations

The USGIF Emerging Technologies Subcommittee invites you to submit an abstract for the Emerging Technologies Subcommittee Lightning Talks to be presented during GEOINT Foreword Monday, June 22, as part of the GEOINT 2015 Symposium.

Lightning Talk presentation proposals are open to any USGIF Member as an opportunity to collaborate and educate colleagues on technical topics relevant to the GEOINT 2015 Symposium’s theme: Opening the Aperture; Charting New Paths. Lightning Talks are limited to five minutes each and will be presented from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. June 22 as a capstone to the GEOINT Foreword event. Lightning Talks must focus on advancing the GEOINT tradecraft for scientists, analysts, and other professionals.

The deadline to submit an abstract for consideration is Friday, May 1.

Deadline for USGIF Award & Golden Ticket Programs is April 10!

USGIF is accepting nomination applications for both its USGIF 2015 Awards Program and USGIF’s Young Professionals Golden Ticket 2015 Program. The deadline for both programs is Friday, April 10.

The USGIF Awards Program annually recognizes the exceptional work of the geospatial intelligence tradecraft’s brightest minds. The program acknowledges outstanding accomplishments by an individual or team in military, government, industry, administrative/support, academic achievement, and academic research. The USGIF Young Professionals Golden Ticket Program offers an opportunity for young professionals to win complementary, full registration and access to exclusive events to the GEOINT 2015 Symposium. The golden ticket program is open for individuals 35-years-old and under, or with five or less years of experience in the GEOINT Community. Exhibitor Registration Now Open

Exhibitors are now able to register for the GEOINT 2015 Symposium.

Exhibiting organizations will need to register their complimentary exhibitor badges using the Map Your Show password provided in the official GEOINT 2015 participating confirmation email. For questions about your password, contact

Each exhibiting organization will receive two exhibit personnel registrations for every 100 square feet of exhibit space. If you would like to register additional personnel beyond your organization’s allotted complimentary badges, the cost is $195 per person for USGIF Members and $245 for Non-members.

USGIF Confirms Three Keynotes for GEOINT 2015

The Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James R. Clapper, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Director Robert Cardillo, and Author Robert D. Kaplan are confirmed to give keynote addresses at GEOINT 2015.

Cardillo is scheduled to speak at GEONT 2015 on June 23 at 11 a.m., Kaplan on June 24 at 10:15 a.m., and Clapper on June 25 at 11:45 a.m. Please note the agenda is subject to change.

GEOINT 2015 Registration Now Open

Registration for the GEOINT 2015 Symposium, the largest intelligence event of the year, is now open.

This year marks the first time the GEOINT Symposium will be held in the nation’s capital. The GEOINT 2015 theme is “Opening the Aperture: Charting New Paths,” and the D.C. location allows USGIF to bring into the program local attendees and exhibitors who may not otherwise travel to the symposium and open their eyes to the Foundation’s broad view of geospatial intelligence.

To best gather all geospatial stakeholders, USGIF offers complimentary Symposium registration and exhibit hall access to government employees (excluding contractors), active-duty military, federal, state, and local representatives and employees, and law enforcement, firefighters, and other first responders.

Young Professionals Golden Ticket Program Now Open

USGIF is now accepting applications and nominations for the Young Professionals Golden Ticket 2015 Program for the GEOINT 2015 Symposium. Each year, USGIF offers the golden ticket program as an opportunity for young professionals to win complimentary registration to the GEOINT Symposium, which includes full symposium and GEOINT Foreword registration.

USGIF will select up to 25 individuals to participate in this exclusive offering. The golden ticket program is open for individuals 35 years old and under, or with five or less years of experience in the GEOINT Community. Participants must be able to attend the entire GEOINT 2015 Symposium Monday, June 22 to Thursday, June 25. Previous golden ticket recipients are not eligible for selection.
